Mini bio
How it started.
Kai is from the Bronx and grew up watching YouTube. Their channel began in 2018 with comedy and challenges. Kai told Tubefilter that college was when making videos began to feel like a career.
Finding a community.
AMP was part of that early growth. By September 2021, both the collective and Kai’s own channel had passed one million subscribers. Kai told Tubefilter that Twitch had boosted their wider work, alongside filming videos and helping plan AMP’s shoots.
Making room for bigger ideas.
Mafiathon turned a livestream into a shared month-long event. The third edition ended with a Guinness-recognized Twitch subscription record in September 2025. Streamer University brought creators together on a real campus, while I Quit introduced fans to Kai’s work on the fashion label Vivet in January 2026.
