How it started.
Lexi first appeared in older brother Brent’s Vine videos at 11. Older brothers also uploaded gymnastics clips to a YouTube channel for Lexi. In a Forbes interview, Lexi recalled waiting until reaching a million Instagram followers before committing to posting independently.
Finding a voice.
Pranks, sibling adventures and challenges helped build Lexi’s audience. The Shorty Awards nominated Alexa Rivera for YouTube Comedian in its 12th edition. Lexi later told Forbes the growth felt gradual, rather than coming from one breakout post, and singled out “I’m PREGNANT!?” as the channel’s most-viewed video at the time.
