Mini bio

Six seconds to start.

Juanpa started making comedy on Vine at 17. Short sketches brought an audience beyond Mexico, and Instagram and YouTube gave that humor room to grow after Vine disappeared. Collaborations with creators such as Lele Pons became part of the journey.

Learning on screen.

Acting opened another path. In Luis Miguel: The Series, Juanpa played Alex, the singer’s brother. In a Glamour interview, Juanpa recalled auditioning for a different part before the team suggested trying the brother role. Film work later included ¿Quieres ser mi hijo? and its 2026 sequel, ¿Quieres ser mi novia?.

A camera and a challenge.

Adventure became a recurring thread alongside comedy. Juanpa told Red Bull that climbing Mexico’s highest peak helped open that chapter. La peor vuelta al mundo turned a single-engine-plane journey with Matt Guthmiller into a travel series, while On the Edge with Juanpa brought training with professional action sports athletes to Roku.

Helping, and showing the process.

The 2022 documentary 13:14: El reto de ayudar follows the fundraising and rebuilding effort in Ocuilan after Mexico’s September 2017 earthquake. Juanpa appears in the film and is credited as a producer. It gives fans a look at the difficulties behind a public effort to help.
