Mini bio
How it started.
Martin grew up in Weymouth, Dorset. His work with Spread a Smile began in 2015, bringing entertainment to children in hospital. In a 2019 interview, he said those visits changed his outlook and inspired his first world record.
Taking tricks somewhere new.
His 2016 wind-tunnel and skydiving records brought his magic to Guinness World Records audiences. He also performed a blindfolded record attempt during a Britain’s Got Talent audition in 2018, as he later recalled in an interview.
Sharing the secrets.
Martin started Secrets of Magic in 2019. His live and online work combines performances with chances for audiences to learn tricks themselves. Playing cards, phones and other everyday objects are central to his shows.
Still setting challenges.
In November 2025 he completed 10 tricks in a wind tunnel for iFLY Milton Keynes’s anniversary. In March 2026 he identified 19 cards in one minute, improving on his own earlier record.
