How it started.
Merton grew up in Australia with drawing and painting as early creative interests. That visual arts background became part of an approach to makeup built around understanding facial structure. In a Model’s Post interview, Merton said their fashion career began at 19. TMT identifies Merton as a graduate of its Sydney Diploma program.
Building a career.
Runway work at Melbourne and Sydney fashion events and editorial assignments helped build a portfolio spanning Gucci, Versace, Chanel, Harper’s Bazaar and Marie Claire. Merton’s own biography also lists additional hair and makeup credits on Shantaram, The King’s Daughter and Better Man.
Sharing the craft.
