Finding his voice.

Momin built his career through commercial voice work and jingles. His official SoundCloud biography describes a practice of changing tone to suit different moods and characters. In his 2026 Karvan interview, he traced his beginnings to an interest in sound and regular practice, identifying a Surf Excel campaign as an early breakthrough.

From commercials to Coke Studio.

He appeared in Coke Studio Season 7 in 2014, singing Washmallay with Akhtar Chanal Zahri and Komal Rizvi. He also worked as a backing vocalist during that season, as he later discussed with The Express Tribune.

Songs for the screen.

His soundtrack work includes Diyar-e-Dil with Zeb Bangash and Chan Chariya from Bin Roye with Rekha Bhardwaj. In a 2015 Express Tribune interview, he explained that composer Shani Arshad wanted a male voice that could complement Bhardwaj while keeping its own tone and identity.
