Mini bio
Before the travel photos.
Murad studied engineering at Imperial College London before building a career in photography and production. In 2011, they co-founded Hype Production with Ilya Stewart.
The picture that started it.
The first #FollowMeTo photo came on a 2011 work trip to Barcelona. Nataly pulled Murad forward while they were taking pictures, creating the hand-holding composition fans recognize. An accidental frame grew into an ongoing travel series.
A shared creative project.
Nataly helps choose locations, style the photographs, and develop ideas. The pair brought their travels into the 2015 book Follow Me To. Their photographs also appeared in Times Square and at Art Basel.
Behind the camera, beyond Instagram.
Murad also works in film production. They are credited alongside Ilya Stewart and Pavel Burya as a producer of Kirill Serebrennikov’s Petrov’s Flu, which screened in competition at Cannes in 2021.
