Mini bio

How it started.

Okayu made her debut stream on April 6, 2019 as part of hololive GAMERS. She says her love of games brought her to hololive. Her purple-haired cat persona was illustrated by Kamioka Chiroru.

Finding her audience.

Gaming sits at the center of her work, alongside singing and ASMR. She reached one million YouTube subscribers in April 2021. That year also brought Mogu Mogu YUMMY!, her first original song, written and composed by PinocchioP.

From streams to the stage.

Her first album, Poisonya Syndrome, arrived in September 2022, followed that year by her first solo concert. Personya Respect followed in 2025 with nine songs exploring two sides of her musical personality. Her second solo show brought the rest of hololive GAMERS to Pia Arena MM as guests.

Building a world fans can play.

Okayu starred in and supervised ENTERGRAM’s 2025 romance visual novel Okayu Nyumu!, then returned as star and producer for Okayu Nyumu! R in 2026. In the sequel’s official interview, she explained that the team incorporated the minigames she proposed, as well as ASMR scenes.
