Mini bio

How it started.

Odeal first recorded at a UK youth club. Later, while living in Awka, Nigeria, a cousin took Odeal to local studios to watch artists work. Back in London, Odeal joined Curtis J and Zilla in TMG before going solo with the independently released New Time in 2017.

Finding the sound.

A childhood across Germany, Spain, the UK and Nigeria helped shape the mix of R&B and African sounds. “Soh-Soh,” from the 2024 EP Sunday At Zuri’s, became a breakthrough, reaching No. 12 on Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart. Lustropolis followed with “Blame U” and “You’re Stuck,” featuring Summer Walker.

The next chapters.

The Summer That Saved Me paired songs about travel and romance with a Leon Thomas collaboration. The Fall That Saved Us followed in November 2025. In 2026, For A Good Time… brought seven more songs, including “Coming Home” with Jorja Smith.
