How it started.
Parker grew up in the Midwest and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. In a Korchmar interview, Parker traced a love of fashion to both parents and to choosing sneakers that stood out against a school uniform.
Finding a creative home.
Posting outfits began as a hobby while Parker was trying to find an acting break. Explaining why pieces worked together proved more creatively fulfilling, and the hobby grew into brand work and a career sharing style advice. The Looksmith blog gave that interest a home across fashion, fitness and everyday life.
Style you can use.
The work now spans short styling challenges, longer YouTube wardrobe guides and the debut book I Will Teach You How to Dress. The focus is practical: finding personal style, dressing for an occasion and making clothes feel less intimidating.
From outfits to objects.
Parker expanded into co-designed jewelry with CONQUERing in 2025. A second collection, Have Fun!, followed in October 2026, after a New York Fashion Week appearance wearing two self-styled looks for the brand.
