Mini bio
How it started.
Peter is self-taught. He drew as a child, drifted toward video games, and rediscovered drawing by doodling during high school classes. He says those classroom doodles still sit at the root of his style. Most of a drawing develops as he goes, with deliberate choices about shading and whether the forms feel mechanical or organic.
Finding his audience.
His YouTube work pairs drawing with conversation and experiments with tools. The 2016 Glass Dip Pen Drawing video, in which he grinds ink and draws with a glass pen, has reached more than 16 million views. By June 2020, Spectrum News reported more than 870,000 subscribers and a career supported by videos, sponsorships, and self-published books.

His work also lives on paper. Tarcher published Color Me Crazy in 2015, with 44 intricate drawings for readers to color. In 2025, he released The Incomprehendium, a hardcover collection spanning more than a decade of work. Alongside books, his Sketchbook Monday videos follow a sketchbook page by page.
