Mini bio
How it started.
Ramoni traces her fitness journey to 2014, when she was still in high school. In her Shoutout LA interview, she describes building Glow with R.O. Fitness and eventually selling her belongings to drive from Tennessee to Los Angeles without an established client base.
Finding her practice.
She told 105.1 The Bounce that a friend brought her to a hot yoga class in Detroit in 2017. Later, a CorePower Yoga BIPOC scholarship funded her teacher training. She says an unwelcoming encounter with an instructor helped motivate her to create a more welcoming space herself.
Music and community.
Her R&B and hip-hop playlists grew out of the music she already loved. Free Black Femmes documented her South Los Angeles classes becoming popular enough to add a second Saturday session, followed by teaching abroad and returning to her LA community.
Meeting people where they are.
Today her work includes bed yoga, chair yoga, gentle flows, and meditation, with particular care for Black women and people with limited mobility. Her YouTube library sits alongside live virtual R&B classes, Yoga Journal practices, and a podcast exploring yoga philosophy in everyday life.
