How it started.

Renée’s grandmother owned a hair salon, giving her an early glimpse of beauty work and entrepreneurship. She began her esthetics career in 1989 and opened a skincare salon with a coworker in Wellesley, Massachusetts, in 1991, aged 21.

Building her own way.

She moved to Texas and founded Renée Rouleau Skin Care in 1996. Early newspaper gift-certificate ads helped bring customers into her day spa. Her developer brother encouraged her to sell online, and ReneeRouleau.com launched in 1998. In 2000, she narrowed the business to skincare treatments.

From the treatment room to your screen.

Her nine-skin-type approach became the basis for product recommendations and online education. She has worked with clients including Demi Lovato, Sabrina Carpenter, and Keke Palmer. Today, her Austin-based brand combines products, virtual consultations, and education for consumers and estheticians.
