Mini bio
How it started.
Sapnap began uploading to YouTube in October 2019 with a short Minecraft video about raining cats and dogs. Collaborations with Dream and GeorgeNotFound helped introduce him to a wider audience as part of the Dream Team. He was also an early member of the Dream SMP server.
Challenges with friends.
His videos change the rules of Minecraft, from shrinking his friends to turning defeated speedrunners into hunters. He also brings the game into real life: in 2021, he and Punz tasted Minecraft foods prepared by Dream’s mother.
Beyond the game.
In September 2021, he and Karl Jacobs launched Banter with MrBeast as their first guest. The podcast briefly reached number one on Spotify’s charts. In October 2022, Sapnap announced that he had joined NRG as a co-owner and content creator; NRG also credited him in its 2024 PUBG MOBILE team announcement.
Playing to win.
Sapnap has won multiple MC Championship events and took the Squid Craft 2 title in March 2023. His recent uploads continue the group challenges, including six-hunter Manhunt videos that show the chase from the hunters’ side.
