Mini bio
How it started.
Sara grew up in Brisbane and started Harper & Harley in 2008 while studying marketing. Reading other fashion blogs helped her find people who shared her interests and gave her the push to create her own. After graduating, she moved to Sydney and worked in e-commerce, then jewellery marketing and sales, while continuing to build the blog.
Finding an audience.
Harper & Harley became a place for Sara’s pared-back approach to getting dressed. Her growing profile brought an ELLE Style Awards Blogger of the Year finalist spot in 2014 and a role as herself in the Australian reality series Fashion Bloggers, credited as Sara Donaldson.
From creator to founder.
Sara launched The UNDONE in 2016, turning her approach to wardrobe curation into a multi-brand fashion business. In 2025 she changed its model to content-commerce, curating products through affiliate partnerships. She also designs accessories for the brand.

Through So UNDONE, Sara writes about personal style, spending habits and financial confidence. Alongside shopping edits and store visits, she makes seasonal Styling Circle lookbooks and explores the psychology behind the things we buy.
