Mini bio

How it started.

Mark brought experience in technology, film and track driving to Savagegeese, as described in his 2018 appearance on The Smoking Tire. The channel’s Patreon introduction describes an early production team of one, with a goal of making carefully produced car videos that help viewers understand both the good and the bad.

Getting beneath the surface.

Today, Mark and Jack pair driving impressions with engineering explanations. Their 2020 Lexus LFA film moves from an owner’s story and servicing to carbon-fiber construction, engine design and track driving. Their 2023 Porsche GT3 RS film also drew coverage from Jalopnik for combining engineer interviews with a detailed look at the car’s development.

Ten years and still learning.

In May 2023, they published 10 Years of Making Car Videos | 20 Lessons, reflecting on business, communication and working with people. Their recent work continues to move between everyday vehicles, long-term ownership reports and performance-car tests, giving fans several ways to understand what makes a car worth caring about.
