Mini bio
How it started.
Sehar comes from Charsadda. A 2020 artist profile describes a childhood spent listening to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan on journeys with her father, whose support helped her pursue singing. Trained in modern folk, she brought that influence into her own performances.
Finding her audience.
Asim Raza introduced her at Lahore Music Meet in 2018, where she performed “Dil Be Sabra.” “Bol Kaffara Kya Hoga,” associated with the drama “Parlour Wali Larki,” became her breakout recording.
From soundtracks to Coke Studio.
In 2020, she sang “Ishq Da Kukkar” for Coke Studio, with lyrics and composition by Asim Raza and production by Rohail Hyatt. Her television work includes the “Kaisi Teri Khudgharzi” theme alongside Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and the soundtrack to “Taqdeer.”
Her own words and melodies.
For “Jaa Janiya Ve” in 2026, she took the singer, lyricist, and composer credits together. Her official channel also carries Pashto performances and a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, alongside her soundtrack catalogue.
