How it started.
Sophie studied Fashion with Photography and initially pursued fashion styling. Social media jobs led her to blogging, which she built alongside her day job. In her 2016 DIARY interview, she said reaching 100,000 Instagram followers brought more paid collaboration enquiries and made going full time possible.
Colour became a signature.
Mermaid hair, creative makeup and hair tutorials helped define her early work. She later launched Sophie Hannah Hair and wrote Beauty, Hair, Style, published by HarperCollins in April 2023. The guide brings together beauty basics, hair colour, styling and ideas for developing a personal look.
A new chapter.
In a Crazy Color interview, Sophie said becoming a mum in January 2025 led her to choose lower-maintenance black hair. Returning to creative work helped her reconnect with vivid colour. Her recent videos move between hair, makeup, cosplay, outfits and a new painting hobby.
