Mini bio
How it started.
Tays grew up in North Manchester and wrote lyrics while still at school, initially keeping them between a few friends. An Aitch verse challenge prompted him to share his writing with his parents. He and a school friend began recording at 258 Studios in Middleton, booking two-hour sessions and recording a track each.
Finding an audience.
His tracks Star and Bang received BBC Radio 1Xtra play in 2020. Perfect Girl followed in 2022, and that year he supported childhood friend Aitch on the Close To Home tour. He also pursued boxing before choosing music.
From music to streams.
In 2024, Tays won season five of Footasylum’s Locked In. His work now spans gaming streams, the Bov Boys collective and Off Stream with Angry Ginge. He has kept releasing music too, including the 2025 album Boys Get Sad Too.
