Mini bio
How it started.
Pekora made her debut stream on July 17, 2019, as part of hololive’s third generation. Gaming is the main focus of her streams, delivered through her rabbit-eared character.
Finding her audience.
By December 2020, she had passed one million YouTube subscribers. Streams Charts later ranked her first among female streamers by hours watched in 2023, recording 29.7 million hours across her YouTube broadcasts.
From streams to the stage.
Her first original song, PEKORANDOMBRAIN, arrived in January 2021 with lyrics by Hata Aki and music by Shunryu. In November 2023 she released the eight-track USAGI THE MEGAMI album, followed by her first solo concert at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena on December 6.
A character inside another world.
In 2025, she became a guest prepper in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. COVER and KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS say they tested both Live2D and 3D approaches before choosing footage of her 3D model to preserve the feel of her everyday streams.
