How it started.
In an interview with Pol magazine, Vida described taking a design and sewing course in Shiraz, continuing to study at other institutions and opening a first atelier while learning. Custom bridal and eveningwear came first; later, the focus shifted toward pattern-free clothing and sustainable fashion.
From the studio to the runway.
Vida presented work alongside John Steel at a runway show in Glebe on 4 May 2024. Photographer Danielle Louise documented the show and its emphasis on sustainable design. Today, VA Studio makes individual handmade pieces with a slow-fashion approach.
