How it started.
Whit’s Whims grew out of Whitney’s love of putting outfits together and sharing the details. In February 2017, she wrote about balancing an 8-to-5 corporate job with Instagram and full outfit posts on her blog. Her early posts paired personal updates with accessible pieces, including a ruffle top priced under $20.
Building her own lane.
Her blog expanded into beauty reviews, hotel stays and travel guides alongside fashion. A 2019 sponsored feature documented a Soma Intimates fitting. In 2021, Gibsonlook named her among the creators who contributed ideas and styling to its Glam holiday collection. That September, she appeared on the PopCandy podcast to discuss moving from corporate work into creating content.
