Mini bio
How it started.
Talha Anjum and Talhah Yunus were friends before they made music together. Young Stunners took shape in 2012 in Karachi. In an early interview, Anjum recalled Yunus asking him to feature on a tribute to his mother, which led them to form a group with fellow rapper Zion Nathan.
Finding their listeners.
Burger-e-Karachi became their early calling card, poking at class-conscious teenage life. They were students themselves and aimed their Urdu rap at other students and teenagers. Their debut album Rebirth followed in 2017; Gumaan and Afsanay later became central parts of their catalogue.
Songs to come back to.
Their work stretches from Jokhay-produced songs such as Gumaan and Afsanay to Phir Milenge with Faisal Kapadia for Coke Studio Season 14. Afsanay won the viewers’ choice Song of the Year at the 2022 Lux Style Awards. More recently, they have released Clones and Kingsmen and contributed Shikaar to the Bait soundtrack, while both members also release work under their own names.
