Mini bio

How it started.

Abdullah grew up with music in Lahore. In his Eastern Eye interview, he remembered teachers encouraging him to sing at school events. His own channel biography dates his start with covers to 2013, when he says he sold his only phone to get going.

Finding an audience.

“Besabra,” featuring Sanam Chaudhary, became an early calling card. In a 2019 interview with The World in Vogue, he said he had never expected it to pass 3.5 million YouTube views. He also described running his own studio, Melody Ventures.

Writing his own tales.

His channel biography describes a gradual move from covers into writing his own music. The three-track Introvert arrived in 2022, followed by “Closure (Gal Kardi)” in 2023 and Rags to Riches in 2024. “Closure” pairs his writing and vocals with a video featuring Nawal Saeed; his description says the song tells a separation story from the woman’s perspective.

The collaborations.

Rags to Riches features Talha Anjum on “Karda Koi” and Simran Choudhary on “Pura Saal.” His 2025 singles continued that collaborative thread with Zoha Waseem on “Ki Karaan,” JJ Esko on “Cash Chaiyay” and JJ47 on “Amiri.”
