Mini bio
How it started.
Aimee began Song of Style in October 2008 while studying interior architecture in San Francisco. The plan was to share interiors and architecture, but a warm response to an outfit worn for a job interview helped turn it into a personal style blog.
Finding an audience.
That early outfit diary grew into a career spanning fashion-week invitations and brand partnerships. Aimee continued working in interior design while the blog developed, building a following around clothes as well as the spaces she loved.
Making things of her own.
In 2016, Aimee published Capture Your Style, a New York Times bestseller about photography and building an Instagram presence. World of Style followed in 2018. In 2019, she launched the Song of Style clothing label with Revolve. Her work now also includes Amiya, a luxury label co-founded with Jacopo Moschin, and a home collection with Lulu and Georgia.

On Substack, Aimee shares outfits, interiors, travel notes and personal essays. Recent posts include her move away from Los Angeles, the experience of starting over in a largely unfurnished home and candid reflections on fashion week.
