Mini bio
How it started.
Alastair Aiken started sharing gaming videos with friends through YouTube in 2006. In a 2023 Forbes interview, he recalled earning nothing for years, then choosing to try YouTube full time instead of going to university.
From Call of Duty to Fortnite.
Call of Duty helped establish Ali-A’s audience. Guinness World Records recognised his channel for both views and subscribers in 2015. Fortnite became another central part of his work, and in 2022 Epic Games brought him into its Icon Series with an outfit, accessories, an island experience, and a cup.
Beyond the main channel.
MoreAliA gives him room for reaction videos, while Ali-A Plays covers shooters such as Call of Duty. He also co-wrote Ali-A Adventures: Game On! with Cavan Scott, illustrated by Aleksandar Sotirovski, and launched the YouTube talent show uTure.
