Mini bio

How it started.

Amit grew up in Delhi and studied law before choosing online comedy. In a 2019 interview, Amit recalled uploading a dubbed video to Facebook during a college holiday. Encouraging comments and friends’ support led to more experiments. A dub of Border became an early breakthrough, passing a million views.

Finding an audience.

Hindi comedy videos followed in 2017, with Exam Be Like among the early breakout sketches. Amit’s desi humour grew around familiar family, friendship and relationship situations. The aim, as described in the 2019 interview, was to make something people could watch with their families. In May 2020, Amit celebrated reaching 20 million YouTube subscribers.

Longer stories and music.

The work now stretches beyond sketches. Chidiya Ghar pairs Amit with Rajpal Yadav in a family comedy. SSC follows Shiv Shankar Chaudhary through exam preparation and the coaching business, while Sipahi centres on a young man trying to become a police constable. Music projects include the autobiographical Parichay with Ikka, Father Saab with King, and 2025’s BIGSHOTS with Paradox and Wazir Patar.
