Mini bio
Before the camera.
Antonio grew up in West Texas and served as a Marine Corps officer. He has described military uniforms and time living in Ukraine as experiences that made him notice how much appearance communicates. After business school and losing a job in Wisconsin, he started the online custom clothier A Tailored Suit in 2007.
Answering real questions.
RMRS grew out of questions from his clothing customers and his guest writing for The Art of Manliness. He began writing style advice in 2008. Rather than relying on formal fashion school, he learned through books and visits to tailors in cities including London, Milan, Bangkok and Hong Kong.
Finding his format.
In 2011, he began making a sustained push into YouTube. He focused on specific questions that broad style videos missed, then kept publishing. An early run of 200 videos in 200 days became part of his story as a creator. Clothing lessons expanded into grooming, fragrance and personal presentation.
Beyond RMRS.
Antonio also built projects outside the main channel, including a conference with Aaron Marino and Mission Fragrances. His fragrance set launched in May 2024 with three scents named Honor, Courage and Commitment. His personal site now lists the Menfluential Conference and A Tailored Suit among projects he has closed.
