Mini bio

How it started.

Arielle began Something Navy on Blogspot in 2009 while working at Theory in New York’s Meatpacking District. She mixed clothes borrowed from her mother and sister with H&M and Zara purchases, then shared how she styled them. Conversations with readers turned the hobby into a career.

From outfits to collections.

Her Treasure & Bond capsule with Nordstrom arrived in 2017. The retailer followed it with a standalone Something Navy brand in 2018, developed with Arielle. She later took the business independent and launched her own brand in July 2020.

More ways to connect.

From 2021 to 2022, she hosted In House, a podcast about fashion, family and work with guests from her personal and professional circles. In May 2024, after the clothing business faltered, she launched a Substack to return to outfit posts and personal writing. Her recent LTK posts continue that daily style diary through outfit edits and brand partnerships.
