Mini bio
How it started.
Before the phone reviews, Arun uploaded gaming clips. At 14, a ZTE Blade from their brother sparked an interest in smartphones. They studied the device and made a video about it. The response encouraged them to keep going. Later, while studying economics at Warwick, they completed a PwC internship but turned down a job offer to focus on YouTube.
The breakout.
In August 2015, Arun showed viewers how to make a smartphone display look like a floating hologram using a small transparent pyramid. The tutorial went viral. It offered a hands-on way to try something surprising with an ordinary phone.
Thinking bigger.
The channel grew from smartphone videos into wider gadget tests and experiments. In 2024, Arun and DIYPerks creator Matthew Perks built a working iPhone 15 Pro Max replica measuring 2.054 metres tall. Guinness World Records certified it on 29 August. The project fulfilled Arun’s promise to build a giant iPhone if the channel passed Apple’s subscriber count.
Making room for fans.
In April 2026, Arun shared a dream-tech experience with young fans through Make-A-Wish UK and made the video a fundraiser. Their recent uploads also include collaborations with TommyInnit and product recommendations from fellow YouTubers.
