Mini bio
How it started.
From Ulhasnagar, Ashish studied civil engineering but wanted to act. Inspired by short Vine-style videos, he began making comedy online in 2014. He told Adgully that he created his YouTube account in 2009 but only began posting videos in December 2014.
Finding his audience.
YourStory identifies Tu Mere Baap ko Janta Nahi Hai as his first viral YouTube video. His exaggerated characters and recognisable situations grew into longer sketches about school, family and everyday frustrations, alongside parodies such as Sasta Shaark Tank and Sasta Biig Bosss. By 2017, he had passed one million YouTube subscribers.
A longer story.
Ashish had already explored horror with the 2020 short Aakhri Safar. After a break in 2023, he told Entrepreneur India he wanted to move beyond familiar sketches. Ekaki became that next step: a five-part series mixing comedy, horror and science fiction, released free on his channel across 2025 and 2026. He stars alongside long-time collaborators and shares story and screenplay credit with Grishim Nawanii.
