How it started.
Ashley launched From Head to Curve in March 2016 to give plus-size women a place to find style ideas and feel less alone. In a 2018 interview with Voyage Houston, Ashley described feeling unfulfilled after two years in accounting and wanting to make work that helped other women build confidence.
Finding an audience.
The blog grew into a YouTube community built around fashion hauls, beauty and everyday life. A January 2019 Shapermint review for apple-shaped women became an early standout, reaching more than two million views.
Beyond the outfit.
Recent videos bring viewers into home routines, solo travel and the work behind being a creator. Ashley also offers the financial guide From Paycheck to Peace: The Journey to Your Financial Freedom on the From Head to Curve website.
