Mini bio
How it started.
Ahad Khan and Usama Ali were childhood friends who shared a love of poetry. Before putting songs on YouTube, they spent years writing together. When they needed a producer they could afford, they saved for a recording with Raffey Anwar. He heard their story and suggested forming a band.
Finding their name.
The trio began as Uraan. In their FUCHSIA interview, they recalled changing the name after a dispute with another act over its use. The group continued as AUR.
The song that travelled.
Tu Hai Kahan brought AUR a wider audience in 2023. Their management announced a Sony Music deal following its success. A new version featuring ZAYN arrived on January 12, 2024.
