Mini bio

How it started.

Raised in Brooklyn, Inas grew up with Arabic music and the sounds of Arabic weddings. She told SHARP that friends encouraged her to pursue singing when she was eighteen. Her Palestinian-American background became part of her sound, which blends Middle Eastern influences with pop, R&B and hip-hop.

Finding her name.

Inas adopted the X to mark her independence and the freedom to define herself. In her L’Officiel interview, she connected it to empowerment and inclusivity. That idea also runs through the name of her label, Love X.

The breakthrough.

Her debut single “Love Is” arrived in 2015 and reached Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart. “Stupid,” featuring PnB Rock, followed in 2016. She opened for Fetty Wap and Post Malone on tour, then pursued an independent path after leaving RGF Productions.

The Lovergirl chapter.

Love remains a thread through her work. In her 2024 ISINA interview, she described Lovergirl as a way to embrace the many sides of being a woman. In 2026, Certified Lovergirl brought that world into a six-track project, including “East to West” and “Rock Your Body.”
