Mini bio

How it started.

Bailey grew up in Seattle and attended the University of Arizona before spending five years in Los Angeles. Her early work included PR and fashion styling. She later moved to New York, where her interest in the city’s street style became the starting point for It Girl.

Finding her format.

She wanted to hear from the women working inside fashion as well as its familiar faces. In her Not Skinny But Not Fat interview, Bailey recalls pitching the idea to Bespoke TV and asking for enough support to cover two months of rent. The series grew into her full-time work. It Girl’s street interviews were already established when she discussed them on World’s Your Oysta in May 2024.

A growing platform.

Her work now includes The It Girl Guide on Substack and longer podcast conversations about style, careers and life in public. In 2026 she joined Summer House’s tenth season, and a July casting announcement confirmed her return for Season 11.
