Mini bio
A camera changed the plan.
Belén studied Economics and once pictured a future in private banking. Photographs made while visiting a partner in Hawaii found an audience on Instagram. As that audience grew, Belén chose creative work over banking offers.
A visual world.
Fashion, travel and art run through the work, from luxury editorials to painting. Belén has worked with Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton, while continuing to make Barcelona home. In interviews, Belén describes wanting to share a creative point of view while keeping private life apart from the job.
Building something to wear.
An enthusiasm for sport helped inspire Manola, the activewear label Belén cofounded. Its first collection launched in December 2020, with Belén handling the creative side. The business later ceased activity, as reported by Modaes in January 2023.
