Mini bio
Finding barbecue.
Bradley’s route from New Hampshire to Austin did not begin with barbecue. In an interview with Kevin’s BBQ Joints, he traced his restaurant experience through Freedmen’s with Evan LeRoy, Micklethwait Craft Meats and Eastside Tavern, before joining LeRoy & Lewis.
A backyard beginning.
His first Chuds BBQ upload arrived in April 2020 and showed a backyard offset smoker build. Cooking tutorials followed, alongside cookers built in his home garage. As the channel found an audience, pit orders grew beyond what the garage could handle.
Building a team.
Bradley brought in his friend Nick, known as Bones, in 2021. The team found Texas manufacturing partners in 2022 and expanded into rubs and tools. The aim remained practical: share cooking knowledge and make equipment they would use themselves.
What fans come for.
Chuds BBQ puts the work of barbecue on camera, from trimming brisket and making sausage to building pits. Bradley also designs the ChudPit and ChudBox, carrying his cooking experience into the equipment itself.
