How it started.
Food was part of Burak’s family life before it became his work. In his Times Monaco interview, he remembers hurrying home from school for his mother’s cooking and calls her his biggest inspiration. The National reports that his grandfather made kunafa and that he began working at his father’s restaurant at 13.

Burak became known online for making oversized versions of Turkish dishes while smiling straight at the camera. He told Times Monaco that he began by sharing the pleasure he took in his work. In his FACT interview, he connects the huge portions to family time and meals shared with loved ones, an approach shaped by his grandmother.

His channel also includes comedy collaborations with Khaby Lame and Ronaldinho, travel videos and a Turkey tour with IShowSpeed. In 2024, WIBA awarded him its Grand Prix. Guinness World Records also recorded him as the most-followed chef on TikTok on 17 January 2023.
