Mini bio
How it started.
Before they had a channel of their own, Brooklyn and Bailey were the models in their mother Mindy McKnight’s hair tutorials. They were nine when they began appearing in that work. As viewers grew curious about the girls behind the hairstyles, the twins decided to build a channel around their own personalities. They launched Brooklyn and Bailey in 2013, sharing teen life, fashion, beauty, and challenges.
Growing beyond the videos.
Their audience grew up with them, from school experiences to adult life. In 2017 they released their debut pop single, Dance Like Me, produced by Benny Cassette. That year they also won the Streamy Award for Kids and Family. They graduated from Baylor in May 2021 while continuing their creator work.
Building things with their community.
Lash Next Door began with mascara in 2018 and expanded into apparel and accessories. In August 2022, they launched ITK skincare with Maesa at Walmart. Brooklyn’s esthetician training helped inform the products, and the twins asked their audience for feedback during development. Their channel still mixes playful twin competitions with personal updates, including home life and family milestones.
