How it started.
Chahat comes from Fatehabad in Haryana and worked as a senior software developer before building a food audience. According to MissMalini’s 2022 profile, a friend encouraged them to try YouTube during college. They paused when support was thin, then gave it another try after college.
The recipe breakthrough.
Short recipes became a way to share ideas while staying home during the pandemic. In a 2022 Indian Express interview, Chahat described making quick snacks with ingredients already in the kitchen and posting a recipe every day for a year. YouTube named Chahat among its emerging Shorts creators in Susan Wojcicki’s January 2022 priorities letter.
Food, travel and life abroad.
The channel now makes room for travel and personal milestones alongside recipes. Chahat shared a wedding vlog in February 2025 and a moving-to-Germany vlog that December. In 2026, uploads have taken viewers to Mussoorie, Japanese convenience-store food and Turkey, as well as back into the kitchen.
