Mini bio
How it started.
Originally from the Netherlands, Charlotte started The Fashion Guitar while living in London. In her own account, working with fashion blogs made her want a space that felt personal and real. Photography, an interest in fashion and knowing her way around WordPress helped her turn that idea into a daily blog, built around her day job.
Finding her audience.
Charlotte identifies her move to New York in 2014 as a career turning point. Brands there were keen to work with bloggers, and luxury partnerships followed. Her fashion coverage grew alongside family life, with street style, shows and everyday outfits all part of the picture.
From outfits to collections.
In August 2019, she launched her first clothing capsule with Amazon The Drop, a 14-piece collection. Her collaborations later expanded to The World of Charlotte Groeneveld jewelry with At Present in 2025 and a grey extra-large Émie bag with Le Tanneur in 2026.

Her Substack, What Say You, brings together outfit diaries, shopping edits, travel and home stories. For another side of her life, Moms Hot Method includes conversations with Charlotte about modern motherhood.

- Her first Chanel couture show was Spring-Summer 2016. After a canceled flight from Toronto, she bought another ticket and reached her hotel with an hour to get ready.
