Mini bio
How it started.
Christine grew up in New Jersey and studied Film and TV at Boston University. She began making bookish content online in 2010, turning her enthusiasm for reading into comedic reviews, sketches, and videos about writing.
Finding her readers.
PolandbananasBOOKS became her home for book talk. She also helped build Booksplosion with Jesse George and Kat O'Keeffe, bringing readers together around a shared book and live discussions. Her 2019 debut, Again, but Better, became a New York Times bestseller.
Writing her own stories.
Her novels include Better Together, about estranged sisters switching places, and Attached at the Hip, a romantic adventure set around a reality competition. Thirty, Flirty, and Forever Alone followed in January 2026, adding a magical twist to a romance across the country.
Fandom in adult life.
In 2022, Christine and Natasha Polis started Those Forking Fangirls. Their weekly podcast explores books, television, movies, and how fandom fits into adult life. In 2026 they returned to BookCon and recorded a live podcast with fans.
