Mini bio

How it started.

Raised in Tucson, Daniel moved to Dallas after graduating from the University of Arizona to work at a brokerage firm. In his VoyageLA interview, he recalls seeing supercars around the city and wondering how their owners could afford them. In 2020, he began walking up and asking.

The question that caught on.

His short interviews took off quickly. Daniel told VoyageLA he gained a million followers in less than a week, left his finance job ten months later and eventually moved to Los Angeles. The appeal is easy to recognize: an impressive car, a simple question and an unexpected answer.

Room for the longer story.

Alongside his street videos, The Daniel Mac Show gives guests more time to talk about careers and money. His work also includes Legends Rally films and a Sports Illustrated partnership launched in July 2023, beginning with behind-the-scenes coverage of Jake Paul’s cover shoot.
