Mini bio

How it started.

Danny is a professional musician from West Yorkshire. An early love of the Beatles, especially Paul McCartney, drew Danny towards bass. The first instrument was a white Wesley Gothic Stealth Dragon acquired in 2006, later auctioned for charity.

Finding a voice.

Danny told Musicngear that the first eight years on YouTube passed without speaking on camera. An early breakout was a short phone video playing bass to cows. Talking, jokes and a more personal style gradually became part of the work.

A turning point.

Winning Bassist of the Year 2020 brought more attention and session enquiries. Today, fans come for a mix of performances, comedy, interviews and commentary, including questions about crediting musicians. Danny also releases original music, including the 2026 single Some Kind Of Magic.
