How it started.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Denika grew up painting before moving from canvas to faces. In a 2024 interview with Worthy Threads, Denika recalled working as an Aveda salon receptionist at 16 and doing makeup demos for clients.
The break.
Denika told Wisdom in Beauty that applying to MAC on turning 18 led to a job a week later. After almost seven years, working full time with the Pussycat Dolls opened the next chapter. Celebrity clients including Miley Cyrus and Hailey Bieber followed.
