How it started.
Deya began by sharing everyday outfits on Instagram. In a 2019 interview with Life Online, they recalled that a South Asian wedding outfit drew an especially warm response. Messages from women embracing their own culture encouraged Deya to share more South Asian fashion.
Building a business.
In a 2018 Tie The Thali interview, Deya said they had graduated on the dean’s honour roll with an accounting degree and worked in corporate roles. Lessons from university helped turn their social platforms into a business. By 2019, Deya was creating alongside a bank job in learning and development and had launched a blog and YouTube channel.
What fans follow.
Today, Deya’s own LTK page brings together seasonal outfits, makeup, skincare and home finds. Their Instagram posts mix fashion with life alongside Pip, from getting dressed for dinner to moving house and hosting Deepavali celebrations.
