How it started.
Davin trained in dermatology in Ireland, the UK and Australia, with a focus on cosmetic and laser procedures. In 2007, he founded Westside Dermatology, beginning with a single consulting room.
Finding an audience.
He began sharing skincare knowledge on YouTube in 2015. His explainers connect ingredient questions with the procedures he works with in practice. A June 2025 interview reported more than 650,000 YouTube followers and 100 million views.
