Ellie graduated from Bart’s and the London Medical School in 2006, trained at St John’s Institute of Dermatology and completed specialist dermatology training in 2018. A PhD in Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine followed in 2021.

After Hours Skin Clinic launched on 14 January 2025 with Ellie joining Dr Emma Craythorne to talk about getting skin like a dermatologist. The show now credits both as hosts, pairing everyday skincare questions with discussions about research and beauty trends.

Alongside public education, Ellie is Klira’s medical director. Their clinical interests include acne, eczema, rosacea, pigmentation and paediatric dermatology. They also lead the complex hidradenitis suppurativa service at St John’s and teach at King’s College London.
