Mini bio
How it started.
Emmanuelle grew up in Togo and spent time in Senegal and Mali before settling in Paris. During a business-school exchange in London, they began sharing outfits on Instagram. It remained a hobby for around three years, with friends, family and Emmanuelle taking the photographs.
Making it a career.
After graduating during the pandemic, Emmanuelle began posting more regularly and brands took notice. Mango brought them into its Mango Girls community after a Paris Christmas dinner in 2023. Their style draws on feminine silhouettes, retro details and French New Wave cinema.
A first collection.
In 2025, Emmanuelle collaborated with NA-KD on their first clothing collection. Its 1960s references included Françoise Hardy and The Supremes, with preppy shapes and a palette of brown, burgundy and pink.

Pause Koffi gives Emmanuelle space to share what they read, watch and listen to, alongside personal reflections. Their 2026 essays move between African art, Anaïs Nin, Carl Jung and the experience of slowing down after years of working through images.
