Mini bio
An artist first.
Erica studied art education and initially imagined becoming an art teacher. After doing makeup for friends and family, an interview at the MAC counter at Macy’s opened the door to a professional makeup career. Her experience includes work with MAC, Laura Mercier, Benefit Cosmetics and Trish McEvoy.
Finding her audience.
In 2021, Erica began sharing makeup tips on social media. Her demonstrations address the questions that come with changing skin and eyelids: where to put concealer, how to soften eyeliner and when to rethink a familiar routine. Side-by-side makeup comparisons and her triangle-lift contour tutorial became signatures of her teaching.
From counter to coach.
Erica joined the L’Oréal Paris League of Experts in 2023. In 2025, IT Cosmetics named her Global Makeup Coach to lead a collective that advises on and tests products during development. It was a return to a familiar team: she had worked for the brand in 2010 as its 27th employee.
Taking the lessons further.
Her debut book, The Magic of Makeup: Your Handbook for a Youthful, Radiant Look, arrived in 2026. It brings her practical approach to foundation, lip liner and hooded-eye makeup into print. She also collaborated with Doll 10 on the Let’s Glow Correcting Balm and Fixer Elixir.
